Our focus at Bolden is to make products that are safe and effective. As much as we can, we try to accomplish this by using ingredients that are natural. However, we want our consumers to know that natural does not automatically mean safe and may not even mean that the product is effective. If there are ever questions about the safety of an ingredient, we avoid using it and find alternatives. 

Our products are safe to use during pregnancy because our ingredients are safe. We would only caution using the nighttime serum because of the concentration of glycolic acid (10%). In place of glycolic acid, a serum with lactic acid will be safe to use during pregnancy.

Yes, Bolden products are parabens and sulfate-free.

Yes, it is normal to experience some tingling when using these products, especially for he first time. Exfoliants such as glycolic acid and vitamin C may cause a little sting when applied. We advise that you start slowly to see how your skin reacts to these exfoliants, and adjust accordingly.
Yes, our products are safe for teenagers.

SPF 30 blocks 97% of UVB rays and SPF 50 blocks 98% of UVB rays; No sunscreen can block all UVB rays and the difference between SPF 30 and SPF 50 is marginal. SPF 30 is sufficient to protect you against UVB rays.

Yes, we are a cruelty free brand. None of the ingredients used in our formulations are derived from animals or tested on them. We also would never test our finished products on animals.

Orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt and shipped on business days only (Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Processing time does not include weekend days). Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on the following Monday. Most orders will arrive within 3-5 business days.
