Brightening Glycolic Acid Toner

So I just wanted to come back and revise my original review...I really loved it at first, but after a week or two after use, I experienced the worst cystic breakout of my life and it’s been stuck on me for a few months now. I know what purging is like on my skin & this was not purging unfortunately... I really really really wanted to LOVE this product & I know it works for so many folks! But if you have extremely dry or sensitive skin, I would maybe consider something different. It’s always worth a try if you feel open to it! I’m glad I could support Bolden. I just think my skin is too sensitive for this product.

This is my second time purchasing the Toner I love the way it has my face glowing. I have noticed that my skin has a brighter tone or complexion. I highly recommend it.

A year ago, I was struggling to find a toner to add to my skincare regimen. I searched all over Google, Youtube, and Pinterest, when I finally found this toner on google images. At that point I desperately needed a toner for my face, so I bought the Bolden toner without hesitation. After a few use, I saw some difference in my skin. I can see the dirt and dead skin my cleanser did not completely remove, my hyper-pigmentation is slowly disappearing, and my skin looks brighter. I love this toner. It was really hard for me during the pandemic when you guys ran out because no other toners worked. This time I'm going to buy extra so I don't have to go through the pain again. Great product.

Best toner I ever used!!!!!

This is the first glycolic acid I have ever tried & it did NOT disappoint. I had heard about glycolic acid making some individuals skin burn with/after usage, so I made sure to use this product with caution. I have NOT have that experience with this product, even at the 10% formula. This product really helped to clear the blackheads from my nose & forehead. It also made my skin soft & helped to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, as well as dark spots left over from breakouts. I am sensitive to most fragrances as I have atopic dermatitis, but the fragrance in this product has not been an issue. Would definitely recommend to a friend & purchase again (& again).

This product has made my skin clear and gave me an amazing glow! I get so many compliments, this is my all time favorite bolden product :)

I’ve been using this for 3 weeks along with the cleanser, the night serum, the spf lotion and the hydrating mask mainly to lighten my dark marks and haven’t seen any improvement whatsoever. Very disappointed. Probably won’t order again unless something changes.

Just wish your had it in travel size

As a first time buyer of Bolden, I’ve been raving about this to all of my friends that suffer from oily skin like me. This toner has been a game changer. It’s become a staple in my skincare regimen. With the Summertime heat & humidity my face would usually be a grease pan but since using the Bolden toner it has stopped the overproduction of oil. Plus it’s helped even out my skin.

Hurry up and restock!!!!!! Lol

This toner removes all the dirt that my other cleaner leaves behind. I will be purchasing the whole kit soon.

I really love this toner! It has made my skin super soft and has definitely helped with my dark spots. I used to be scared of glycolic acid, especially the high percentage bc of a bad experience in the past, but this toner is great! I also just started using it on my chest and have been seeing improvement! I do have somewhat sensitive skin so I would recommend starting with a lower percentage then getting this one bc it’s 10%. This one is way better than the ordinarys. 10/10 would repurchase again.

Love this toner. Been using it about 1 week or more. Nice fresh botanical scent. Not too strong. Feels good on the skin. Very generous size bottle.

I love love love this toner!! I’m not usually the type to leave reviews but for Bolden its definitely worth it! This is my skin after 2 months of using this product along with the wash, clarifying mask, repair serum, and the moisturizer. The toner has definitely brightened my dark spots and tightened up my pores. 10/10

I gave this toner a try after reading the hundreds of raving reviews and wanting to introduce such a product back into my skincare routine. After I went through the purging phase, I noticed the toner had comprised my skin barrier. It was likely a combination of the glycolic acid and fragrance. I’ve used other toners with a high concentration of glycolic acid with no issues. Unfortunately, I can’t return the product, after use, for a refund. I recommend creating a fragrance-free version of this product and implementing a more consumer-friendly return/refund policy.

Yea yea i like this toner,my face is beginning to much better than it use to be,but the only this things i was not comfortable with is that it take ages to show up.

Love this toner! It doesn't dry my face out, and balances out my skin after washing.

I requested that I needed a product to smooth out my skin and to lighten my skin not bleach. Its not a bad product it was not what I was looking for.

I like the product I would love it if it was in a travel size or had a travel friendly lid. Being a Flight attendant if my bag gets hit wrong it can cause products to spill.

This is the product that started it all for me and Bolden. Love this as a toner and an essence before serums. This keeps me breakout free. I use this morning and night without fail. It's holy grail status. And it lasts a long time. And the price point is great compared to others I've bought out of Sephora. And again, another gentle product.

I used to use just plain old witch hazel but I like this product because it’s a brighter as well. It’s good!

This. Stuff. Right. Here! Listen, I have suffered from acne for over 30 years and have tried many products over the years to address the acne scars left behind. Nothing compares to the results I’ve seen with this toner! My skin is sooo even. Like, I don’t need any makeup even! On my second bottle with no intentions on stopping

Can I use this product when I go outside? I mean on sun or at work and etc.

I believe i see some improvement on my combination acne prone acne scarred skin but I've been using it recently so I'll give 3 to 6 months for significant results. My main reason I'm giving this a is the size. Lol i think this is the largest toner i've ever seen! I think most of the toners i've used is like a quarter or half of this. I do feel like I get an effective cleansing feeling while using it. I use it after the bolden cleanser.

Gentle but effective exfoliant. I noticed results within 2 weeks. My skin was radiant and glowy! I have used multiple products from this skincare line for a few years. I have been very happy with the results! The Glow hydrating mask was heavenly… The nighttime repair serum was also great. Do not pass up on the cleanser, it’s non drying formula left my skin clean and soft. Incorporating these products into my skincare routine has been beneficial and rewarding for my skin. Definitely worth every penny!

In addition to my Epicurn Toner, I also dig Bolden's Brightening Glycolic Acid Toner. For my own personal use, I transferred the contents of Bolden's Toner into a spray bottle, for ease of application and to eliminate waste on a cotton ball, i.e., my cotton ball doesn't need any toner. :) I have hyperpigmentation, I have seen a very slight improvement with regard to pigmentation lightening. Albeit, I have only been using Bolden's Toner for a lil over a month, thus need more time.

Absolutely LOVE this toner. I had typically stayed way from big box store skincare products. And I haven't used a toner over a decade. But I had received a make over where the person used a toner on me and I fell in love with it, only to find that was no longer being sold in stores :(. So I began a hunt for a new toner with deeper ingredients than just Witch Hazel. I like that this had Glycolic Acid that would help with hyper pigmentation. This toner turned out to be everything I wanted! That extra step in cleansing my face, removing all traces of makeup; an effective essence that allows for my serums to penetrate deeply; and a treatment in and of itself with G.A. to treat my past acne marks. It's a win!

I love this toner but the bottle cap has a gap and it leaked out in my gym bag. So I have to put in a ziplock day make sure it’s in an upright position. Otherwise I love the glow it gives me and my skin looks brighter❤️

I've purchased the cleanser and the toner 2 weeks ago. I've noticed that my face has gotten worse around cheeks. I thought product supposed to prevent breakouts not make them worse. Unsure if I want to continue the use of the product. The question is worse before it gets better?

Black spots are disappearing slowly but surely. I just need something else to speed up the process. I might have to try the night serum

I bought the toner after reading reviews. I must admit I was skeptical about the results but decided to try it anyways. After a week of using the toner my dark spots started fading away. I could not believe my eyes. For years, I had tried every skin care product out there, from proactive to murad to clinique- nothing worked. It's been more than 3 weeks since I started using this facial toner and my face is glowing as never before. I faithfully use it every other night because it was a little harsh on my skin with every day use. I love the results and will definitely buy more of this toner. Excited to try out the nighttime facial serum as well.

Fresh scent, light application, and no burning ! This toner has gotten my skin back to a nice bright glow - will likely become my holy grail toner.

It really does work. It smoothes my skin and pores are visibly smaller. I see my dark marks fading a little but I will give it time. Overall it's a good product, packaging came in fine and im glad it's skincare for AA women. Can't wait to try the other products in the skimcare line.

Best toner ever Happy I found this brand!

I love this toner I love this toner, I’ve even encouraged my daughter who has been battling breakouts with her sensitive skin to try it. After a week I can see the difference in her skin. I’m recommending to everyone.

Receiving compliments on my skin I was already using another brand toner and decided to try this one since I was ordering the much anticipated moisturizer. Well-played, ma’am. This is the best toner I have used in life. Have tried several different brands over the years and they tend to dry out my face. This toner does not suck all the moisture out of your skin. My face does not feel tight or uncomfortable after application. I have gotten so many compliments on the quality of my skin since beginning to use this product (in combination with the moisturizer). I am very happy and will be buying again and have recommended this to all my friends.

Amazing AF From top to bottom every product is AMAZING!!! I don’t do reviews but this I’m more than happy to do. This skincare line has really helped me keep my acne breakout at bay (even on my menstrual cycle... PRAISE JEB’US! Thank you Lawd!!). 3rd Bottle It may be my 4th, I put down the witch hazel and other toners and picked this up. Haven't looked back since, LOVE IT!!!

On the Fence I broke out in pimples 2 days after using this. I reduced to once a day and while I’ve noticed a clearer and more complexion skin, I continue to break out in acne. Not sure if I will purchase again. I now have to d so with new discoloration from the breakouts.

Bolden products Boldens products are the BEST!!!

Just wasn't right for my skin type The toner ended up badly irritating my skin. I used it along with the cleanser for 3 weeks. My skin went through a 'purging' process (breakouts and irritation) which I read is normal when using a new product with a cell turn over ingredient such as glycolic acid. So I kept with it. Big mistake. Once the pimples subsided the irritation did not go away. My skin was visibly red, extremely tight and dry, and had this weird 'textured' look to it. I stopped using immediately. My skin is slowly going back to what it was. I would like for Bolden to have a line Without glycolic acid please. Not everyones skin can tolerate it. I will Slowly incorporate the cleanser and the mask as they don't contain GA. Though that's a huge maybe as I am super cautious of this line now. I'm sure this is great for others as this product does have great reviews, it just didn't work for my skin. Also to new buyers I would slowly start off with the toner and if your skin can handle the ingredients after so many weeks I would then buy the other products.

It’s been approximately a month It’s been approximately a month since I’ve been using the toner and I can say that I like how it makes my skin feel smooth but as far as preventing breakouts it hasn’t done that at all. I feel once I started using this my skin started attacking me because I started breaking out like I’ve never had before ever in life. I’m gonna complete my bottle and determine if I’ll purchase again once it’s finished.
