Our Brightening Moisturizer SPF 30 is finally here!

by Chinelo And Ndidi June 02, 2018

After several months of promising, we are happy to announce that our Brightening Moisturizer SPF 30 is now available! To top off the great week we are having, it was also featured in the June issue of Oprah’s O magazine.

Why this moisturizer is an important product in our face line:

With our Bolden face line, we set out to tackle the #1 skin complaint for women of color --hyperpigmentation. Our solution is a simple 4 step process that stops breakouts and fades existing dark spots. This process truly works because it is based on a deep understanding of the cycle that leads to hyperpigmentation.

Step 1: A gentle cleanser that cleans deeply and prevents breakouts, because prevention is the best cure.

Step 2: A nourishing and calming toner that tightens pores and gently exfoliates the skin. This combo action prevents new breakouts from occurring by removing dead skin cells that clog up the pores and the mild exfoliation gradually fades existing dark spots.

Step 3: A brightening moisturizer (SPF 30) that combines advanced ingredients with broad-spectrum sun protection to visibly improve the skin’s look and feel and prevent dark spot formation. While melanin provides some protection from the sun’s ultra violet rays, the sun still has damaging effects on darker skin tones, so getting broad spectrum sun protection is very important, even for women of color; it is especially important in preventing hyperpigmentation.

Step 4: A nighttime serum with 10% glycolic acid that provides exfoliation of the skin's surface cells while you sleep, helping the skin achieve the cell turnover required to eliminate hyperpigmentation.

After a few weeks of consistent use of the products, you should see a visible difference in the appearance of your skin.
